Hmm ... It turns out Human Skin Anti Bullets

A moment later, a bulletproof vest may not be sold again if everyone has bulletproof skin. Scientists in the Netherlands recently announced its success in making that does not penetrate human skin, hit by bullets.

Scientists from the Forensic Genomic Consortium, Jalila Essaidi recently succeeded in developing human skin bulletproof. Trials with a rifle fired at about 165 meters per second showed that the skin remains intact.

This modified skin was not attached to the human body, because it is still in development stage in the laboratory. But one day, modification can be performed on a human gene that can grow naturally not be in the lab.

Modifications made Essaidi is mixing certain protein from goat milk. Goat's milk but not the ordinary that has been engineered so that its content in the protein resembles a spider web silk is known to be very strong.

Strength of spider web silk is mentioned four times stronger than Kevlar, which is a kind of carbon used to make bulletproof vests. Several previous studies also proved its strength, but has never been applied to human skin.

The basic idea is to modify the skin to remove a protein called keratin protein and then replace it with a spider web silk. The result is skin elastic, but has double the power to ward off bullets.

"It may add a silk-producing genes from the spider to the human gene, so that people can have bulletproof skin," said Essaidi told New Scientist, as quoted from Dailymail.

Recognized by Essaidi, this project as more people realize the fantasy in science fiction films. Ability deflect shots without a bulletproof vest over it only have fictional characters such as Superman and other superheroes.

Divorce is always a negative effect on child

Children 'broken home' tends to be involved cigarettes, drugs, alcohol to sex early age

Divorce is often the best choice for married couples when it was no longer a match. But as good as any process, divorce is always a negative impact on children.

According to a study of 1000 families, the child must always be suffering and trauma. The researchers say their findings are contrary to public belief that the divorce could be the best way for each family member including children and would not be a traumatic experience on children in the future. In fact, divorced parents should try harder to protect their children from the trauma.

The study begins by comparing the welfare of children of divorced parents with children from the marriage strong. As reported by the Daily Mail, children from divorced parents tend to have poor grades. It can be seen from 944 divorced families.

The study divides the family into three groups. Divorced parents who still cooperate in parenting (which is believed to be a good divorce), divorced parents who share parenting time but is no longer spoken, and single parents because one parent is no longer participating child care.

All three family groups underwent an interview session when their teenage children. Meanwhile, their children undergo an interview session when they grow up.

The result, all three groups had a similar answer. As published in the journal Family Relations, children who have a parent co-operative have fewer behavioral problems than those who have parents who are separated.

However, they are no better when viewed from the confidence they have, satisfaction with life and school, or experience with cigarettes, drugs, and alcohol.

In fact, the value of their school worse than those who have parents who are no longer spoken. When mature, the child of the 'good divorce' likely to have sex early and have a chaotic life as those who live apart from family.

Similar results were also obtained from those who live in a divided family. Researchers from Pennsylvania State University said that the results found little support society's belief that there is still a good divorce.

Paul Amato, a family sociologist, said that divorced parents should be more clever to help their children adapt to changes in the family. He also said that divorce is a last resort when all efforts are made to save the marriage.

"Not all children from divorced families experiencing long-term problems. But, friendship after divorce is far more unstable than marriage is intact, especially if children are involved. The importance of marriage for the child's parents can not be considered excessive."

Behind it tastes fresh, strawberry fruit has many health benefits. One of them is able to maintain red blood cells from damage caused by oxidation processes, so that the body be more robust in the face of risk of disease.

Benefits of antioxidants in strawberry and it is already known and proven in vitro or in laboratory. In the experiments whose results published in the journal Food Chemistry, researchers involved 12 participants. Each was given an additional 500 grams of strawberry food every day, and blood samples taken on days 4, 8, 12, 16 and a month afterwards.

The results of blood tests showed, strawberry consumption on a regular basis can increase the capacity of red blood cells or erythrocytes to accommodate the content of antioxidants. Other impacts, erythrocytes became more resistant to hemolysis or damage resulting from the oxidation process.

"We proved that the strawberry is able to make red blood cells are more resistant to the effects of oxidative stress. The impact will be very influential in a variety of disease risk," said one researcher, Maurizio Battino as quoted from ScienceDaily

As revealed by Battino, antioxidant capacity of erythrocytes to accommodate and resist the influence of oxidative stress associated with different risks of disease. The better the quality of red blood cells, the smaller the chance of separately developing cardiovascular disease, cancer and diabetes.

These benefits can also be obtained by eating strawberries on a smaller servings daily. In that experiment, the researchers also found that consumption of 150 grams and 200 grams of strawberries per day also could provide a similar effect.
