Hmm ... It turns out Human Skin Anti Bullets

A moment later, a bulletproof vest may not be sold again if everyone has bulletproof skin. Scientists in the Netherlands recently announced its success in making that does not penetrate human skin, hit by bullets.

Scientists from the Forensic Genomic Consortium, Jalila Essaidi recently succeeded in developing human skin bulletproof. Trials with a rifle fired at about 165 meters per second showed that the skin remains intact.

This modified skin was not attached to the human body, because it is still in development stage in the laboratory. But one day, modification can be performed on a human gene that can grow naturally not be in the lab.

Modifications made Essaidi is mixing certain protein from goat milk. Goat's milk but not the ordinary that has been engineered so that its content in the protein resembles a spider web silk is known to be very strong.

Strength of spider web silk is mentioned four times stronger than Kevlar, which is a kind of carbon used to make bulletproof vests. Several previous studies also proved its strength, but has never been applied to human skin.

The basic idea is to modify the skin to remove a protein called keratin protein and then replace it with a spider web silk. The result is skin elastic, but has double the power to ward off bullets.

"It may add a silk-producing genes from the spider to the human gene, so that people can have bulletproof skin," said Essaidi told New Scientist, as quoted from Dailymail.

Recognized by Essaidi, this project as more people realize the fantasy in science fiction films. Ability deflect shots without a bulletproof vest over it only have fictional characters such as Superman and other superheroes.

ANDROID - the OS (Operating System)

Android is the operating system for mobile phones based on Linux. Android provides an open platform to developers for creating their own applications for use by a variety of mobile devices. Initially, Google Inc.. buy Android Inc.., newcomers who make software for mobile phones. Then to develop Android, formed the Open Handset Alliance, a consortium of 34 companies for hardware, software, and telecommunications, including Google, HTC, Intel, Motorola, Qualcomm, T-Mobile, and Nvidia.

At the inaugural release of Android, 5 November 2007, with the Open Handset Alliance Android states support the development of open standards on mobile devices. On the other hand, Google released the Android code under the Apache license, a license is open standard software and mobile devices.

In this world there are two types of distributors operating system Android. The first fully supported by Google or Google Mail Services (GMS) and the second is a completely free distribution without the direct support Google's otherwise known as the Open Handset Distribution (OHD).

Cooperation with the Android Inc.

In July 2000, Google Inc. in cooperation with the Android., A company located in Palo Alto, California, United States. The founders of Android Inc.. working at Google, including Andy Rubin and Rich Miner, Nick Sears, and Chris White. At that time many consider the functions of Android Inc.. just as software on mobile phones. Since then rumors that Google was about to enter the mobile phone market. At the company Google, Rubin led the team in charge of developing programs of mobile devices supported by the Linux kernel. This shows an indication that Google is preparing for a competition in the mobile phone market.

Buying Tips LCD Projector

The following are tips on buying an LCD projector.
I accidentally posted this to our knowledge, especially for all who want to have an LCD projector. Thanks to Mr. Eko on the article ....

Buying an LCD Projector is enough to drain our financial investment. Then you need to think carefully how to use it and customize the features you need at a price of the best.

As an example of an LCD Projector Brightness is a key factor in selecting / purchasing, but if you do not have plans to use it often in a presentation in a big room then you do not need an LCD projector who have a high performance for this.

The following are some key factors in choosing an LCD Projector :

LCD Projector Resolution

SVGA (800 x 600), XGA (1024 x 768), SXGA (1280 x 1024), or UXGA (1600 x 1200)?

The higher a projector's resolution, the higher the price. If you plan on using a projector for PowerPoint presentations, then SVGA resolution for this. While XGA is a good choice for displaying numerical data. You only need a higher resolution LCD display if you want a reply more details.

LCD Projector Brightness

The higher the ANSI Lumens LCD Projector increasingly brighter light output. Lumens Projector with 1000 lumens will feel under less lighting. A projector with 1000-2000 lumens will be adequate lighting for a business presentation or in a classroom situation. While the 2000-3000 Lumens Projector with elbow produce light to illuminate an image without a defect in a large elbow room / area or situation of a classroom.

Without sufficient brightness who then resultant images will look muddy and soft even in the dark elbow room. Room size, screen size and distance between the projector to the screen will make an impact on determining your needs in more or the lack of lumens.

LCD Projector Contrast

Projector Contrast shows a comparison between the brightest light in an area of image / object who darkest. Consider an LCD projector that has a contrast ratio of 400:1 or higher
then the graphics and video display clearly visible. If you use more to display images with a bright light then you need a projector with a contrast ratio higher or highest,.

Contrast Ratio is a complement / complement of brightness. High Contrast Ratio will send the whitest white and blackest black. But if the contrast ratio is low, then the resultant image will look deformed or imperfect, at least 1,500: 1 contrast ratio is pretty good but who 2000: 1 or higher would be better and perfect.

LCD Projector Weight

The weight of a projector is a question of portability. If you plan to be carrying the projector around a lot, making presentations in different places, then the choice of who are brighter, the better. Currently many LCD projectors are available with a weight of less than 2.5 kg, with a very bright lighting if you are a Mobile Presenter. Generally the more light the ability of a projector, the more expensive price.

Portability is also important, not only allows for mobile just yet easy installation and setup. Also facilitate in trying a variety of screen size, distance and different rooms. You can also hang it on the roof of the room ..

LCD Projector Connectivity

When you buy an LCD projector, of course, you will choose the one that connects with your PC / Notebook you. But if you always use the same computer again and again? Obviously you will need a connector cable or adapter separately in a special condition. Check carefully whether pd an LCD projector has multiple ports, in this case when you want to connect Multiple Computer or multiple video sources to a Projector in the same time.

Ensure the projector has multiple inputs who you need, such as Composite and S Video for Analog Sources, Component input for DVD, and DVI or HDMI inputs for HD sources. Most projectors have the VGA input for PC or Notebook.

LCD Projector Lamp Life

Another factor you should consider when buying an LCD projector is a Lamp Life, as replacement projector lamp is a significant financial cost. A projector with Lamp Life 2000 Hour lamp life is very good at all. There are some who have a choice Projector Mode, such as Mode "Ecco Mode" where the Projector is available extended lamp life and can save operating costs

Pixel Density and Scaling

The density of a pixel is very important, especially for units LCD / DLP projector. If most of you are using an HDTV then use the Native Pixel high as possible. Figures of the Native Pixel who is 1024x 768 is suited to play a DVD, but 720p HDTV signals require 1280x720 pixels to give you an idea of 1:1 (1:1 signal representation), while a 1090i HDTV input signal goes a native 1920x1080 pixels for a : a signal representation of the 1080i signal.

Color Reproduction

Color reproduction is another factor, check for Natural flesh tones and color depth (color depth). Check how a color looks in the light of the brightest and darkest light on an image area. Also check the level of color stability from input to output. Everyone has a different perception on the assessment of color, so consider carefully.

Similarly, the information I write may be useful

Know the LCD and Plasma Technology

LCD TECHNOLOGY

LCD stands for liquid crystal display provides the advantage of larger screen sizes than CRT screens. In addition, energy consumption is also more efficient than the CRT.

LCD is composed of several kinds of constituent layers. Layers consisting of colored filters, two pieces of polarized glasses, the composition of the matrix thin film transistor, a layer containing liquid crystal molecules, and a final layer contains the lighting behind white light. When turn on the LCD screen, will regulate the voltage on the transistor layer of liquid crystal molecules consisting of three groups of primary colors (red, green, and blue). The molecules will be spinning and the light passing through layers of glass and color filters. Thus, the view you see is the result of a combination of light color of the liquid molecules.

LCDs generally have a technical reliability does not differ much from CRTs, LCDs, so the technical age - according to a few manufacturers of LCD - reaching 60,000 hours (about 15 years of normal use). In this period, the LCD will begin to experience the dimming color by decreasing the technical ability behind the light components (backlight) which will begin to be replaced by some manufacturers with components of high-intensity LEDs (light emitting diode) - high-intensity LEDs. However, this color dimming process will not be too recognizable because of decreased levels of this overcast condition will progress slowly.

PLASMA TECHNOLOGY

Plasma is one of the alternative technologies. To display the image in color, plasma technology uses a combination of red phosphor, green, and blue. But, unlike CRT technology, plasma gave the charge to the pockets of gas containing neon and xeon which is between two glass panels.

Easy analogy, if the CRT only contains a cathode ray tube (cathode-ray tube), the plasma consists of one million fluorescent tubes are so small. When the fluorescent tube is given a charge, neon and xeon gas will release ultraviolet photons. Then the photons hit the phosphor which will give off light in color. The combination of this light will produce images on television.

Problems that appear on plasma screens around the performance of phosphor that emit light. Performance phosphorus will decrease over time. If the performance of phosphorus has decreased, then the light photons emitted when crushed phosphorus, will be minor and fainter. The contrast ratio alone will decline by 50 percent within the use of 4-5 years. As for the aspect of brightness (light ratio), some manufacturers claim, a decrease of 50 percent, will occur after the use for 60,000 hours (15 years of normal use)

Plasma allows manufactured with a diagonal screen size greater than the LCD. In addition, the plasma can be seen clearly from different angles than LCD technology at this time. It's just lost a class of plasma in terms of number and weight of power consumption than LCD screens.

But in terms of price, both are not able to beat the CRT screen. If you have a budget large enough to replace your CRT, LCD or plasma could be an option. What's more, if you have filed a CRT screen for early retirement from the family room. If the budget is not enough, it is worth considering a flat-screen CRT technology. Or should wait some time until there are improvements in both technologies, especially LCD and lower price to a reasonable level.

Advantages of Plasma:
  •  The black color is clear.
  • Not occur blur (blurred images) on the rapid movement making it suitable for action movies and sports.
  • The angle of view of the plasma is also better than LCD in which if viewed at an angle that is too sharp LCD will be somewhat blurred.
  • Plasma trying to compete with the latest LCD TVs in terms of resolution in which some vendors have already issued a full HD plasma but the price is still high compared with LCD TVs.
 LCD advantages:

  • The LCD screen is not glossy like the cause annoying reflections from windows and lamps. Plasma is more comfortable viewing in a dark room or with special lighting.
  • Burn in, plasma burn-in also has a weakness, which if it displays the same image for a long period of time such as TV logos, games, message runs (ticker) will result in burn marks on the screen is annoying. This has been recognized and addressed by some manufacturers try to plasma.
  • Plasma is heavier than LCD TVs (this needs to be a concern if you intend to hang your big screen TV on the wall).
  • Resolution, one thing is quite important according to the authors for the same price, LCD TVs have higher resolution than the plasma so that it can provide a sharper image. This causes the LCD TV is very suitable for high-resolution video games, computer monitors and see the results of digital photos.
  • Weakness of the LCD in the blur (blur) for fast movement also began to be fixed so it is quite comfortable to watch a sporting presentation or fast moving action movies.
